Sorry that I haven't update the blog for such a long time because form six is keeping me busy, but here we go! I'm miss this moment when I'm writing this blog post, so guys, I love you all!

30 November, 2009. It's Monday and we're still in Brunei, at Sheraton Hotel (Which is now known as Radisson Hotel). We had our breakfast at Tasek Brasserie at ground floor just beside the lobby where I used to play the piano on 29 November's night and also on 29 November.

And as usual, we have our temperature checked to keep track of our health due to the threat of H1N1 and passing up the questionnaire that we were given yesterday about what we think about Japan.

After that, at 9 20, we assemble in our formal clothes, wearing the jenesys black jacket (Which is quite a memorable jacket in JENESYS) and also the grey shirt. We are at the ballroom and rehearsing for the departure ceremony.

Shortly after that, we had our lunch break and free time until two (In japanese culture, it would mean free time until 1 50, 10 minutes earlier!) and from 2PM to 3PM we have the pre-departure ceremony where the Ambassador of Japan to Brunei was the guest of honor and we are given plaque and then we have another hour to pack all our things for Japan!

Exactly at 4 26, we departed from Sheraton hotel to the Brunei International Airport and at there, is where our real adventure and fun, begins!

Having breakfast with smiling faces!

Let's just say that we don't really need the pink thick jacket until we get to Japan, alright Noraini? Singapore is still considered hot compared to Japan

Last few moments parting with family before going into the terminal

Waiting to board for the airplane, what should we do? Pray, of course!

Inside our bus to proceed to our hotel, I guess the three of them really get a good sleep on the airplane. Too bad I didn't, was still dizzy at that time.

And guys, it was actually in the morning when we reached Japan, and it was already 1 December! So watch out for the next post! I'm missing JENESYS badly right now!

29 November, 2009 at Sheraton Hotel

Posted by Jenesys 2009

29 November, 2009, The day had finally came! It's time we all go to Sheraton Hotel for the orientation and staying there for one night! We are supposed to be gathering around the lobby at 2 PM, but somehow, like Japanese people, almost everybody are already there in 1 30 PM! Guess that this journey is getting more and more exciting to us!

Then, the chaperons arrived, and there are already JICE (Japan International Cooperation Centre) staff there and begins the registration. We received a big envelop containing our name tag, schedule for 30 November, 1 December and a small handbook. After that, it's all about carrying the big mass to our rooms.

While the orientation will start at 3 PM, we all arrived at the lobby 10 minutes before that time. In the orientation, we were briefed about JENESYS, our schedule in Japan and also tips on how to live in Japan.

After the orientation, the students prayed for Asar and Maghrib Prayers.

In the evening, we ate at the hotel's restaurant, that is, Tasek Basserie. Guess what, we got a surprise for Cikgu Zariah because her birthday was today! After the dinner, we all had another meeting because of some major changes to our timetable, and we are off to bed at 10 o'clock!
